OVERVIEW

The Starfire Solarus AS is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Starfire offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire promotes great all weather traction and road gripping ability. The special all season tire compound and the symmetric mirrored tread design work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road grip. The compound manages to maintain its flexibility throughout the year, including in winter weather conditions, while the tread design's elements find firm grip on the road surface. The tread's wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and exceptional all weather traction guarantee a safer year round performance.

The model also provides a quiet and comfortable drive. The tread pattern features a closed shoulder design that prevents road noise from forming while the tires are in motion. The closed shoulders prevent airwaves from entering the tire's footprint and coming into contact with the tread elements.
